Actually, what I meant was if they all used the same underlaying driver.
In other words, if only your sql based sources vanished when enabling
shares on a sql source etc...

Regardless, I am unable to reproduce this.  I have configured two sql
sources - localsql_shared and localsql_notshared.  Both sources are visible
and act as expected.  In addition, I also have an IMSP source (that I
tested both as shared and not-shared), the favorites driver, pref driver,
and the group membership driver enabled and I can see them all.

Not that you wouldn't have thought to look, but are the sources visible in
the addressbooks pref?
