The only way I can reproduce this is if the identity's sent-mail folder is
set to 'None'.  This will work in IMP and not DIMP because IMP allows you
to manually set the sent-mail folder when submitting (it appears in a drop
down box) while DIMP doesn't.

If this isn't the case, you need to debug yourself and point to the exact
location in the code where you think this is broken.
