at the moment - we have an account:-

- I have managed to successfully login using telnet. (e.g. telnet
localhost 110 and telnet mail.hkvoice.org). 
- Several different configs were tried for servers.conf, currently I have
the following:-

    'name' => 'POP3 Server',

    'hordeauth' => false,

- I am using dovecot w/Sendmail, on Centos 5, php 5.1.6
(http://www.dannyfontaine.com/) for phpinfo(), mysql 5. 
- have checked to ensure that cookies are being accepted 
- have checked the /etc/dovecot.conf and if we can login through telnet, I
presume that the pop3 connection is ok
- have looked at the mail logs and it appears that there is no
authentication at all from horde... so I'm wondering whether there is a bug
with php-imap.... 

Perhaps you could shed light on this.
