I just tested this again, and it appears that what is happening is that any
messages that are already marked as deleted in a folder are *not* shown in
the vTrash if switching from no vTrash to vTrash.
Marking a message as deleted, then switching to using the vTrash - you
will still see the deleted message , and have no way of removing it since
the purge deleted is gone. The message is also displayed in the vTrash.
Any messages deleted after selecting to use vTrash are properly hidden and
"moved" to the vTrash.
