A push function would trigger a synchronization of mobile device if
something changes calendar, notes or contacts. Obviously mobile device
needs to be connected permanently. This is not a problem if fees are
calculated by volume or if a flat-rate is used.

Some users of Horde do not understand, why push is working for e-mail, but
not for calendar, notes or contacts. Push e-mail is not a problem, if IMAP
server supports that. I do not know if push function would break Horde
design. If there are plans to implement that, please let me know.
