On my installation (and I updated to the latest snapshots two days ago). 

Right after I log in, I right-click on 'Trash' and I see 'Create
SubFolder' then I right click on 'Inbox' and then right click on 'Trash
Again' and the 'Create SubFolder' link is gone.

Now I right click on an ordinary folder and then right click on Trash
again and the 'Create SubFolder' link is back.
