Let us assume that Horde’s language preference is set to "English
(American)".

Now, change it to, say, "Deutsch", via the “Options” menu: The name of the
Inbox is still in English ("Inbox") rather than German, in the folder
selection box (red pointer in the attached screen shot). In the header
line, however, the name is correctly displayed as “Posteingang”; also the
leftmost menu item correctly reads “Posteingang”.

When you log out, and in again, the name of the Inbox is correctly
displayed in German.
