Adding an empty mail address doesn't do anything on my side. Meaning: as
the value is empty no attendee is added but there is also no need for
showing an error.

The problem I saw was adding an invalid mail address.

If you add a mail address like "a at b@c" you will get an error now instead
of a blank page and a fatal PHP error.
