UT is valid, though obsolete, according to RFC 2822.  It looks like
strtotime() stopped recognizing it sometime in PHP 5.  GNU date does parse
it so PHP should too.  We can work around it by changing UT to UTC, and/or
filing a bug with PHP to recognize this zone again.
