So as the summary states, if you set your imp option,  When deleting  
messages, move them to your Trash folder instead of marking them as  
deleted?  Dimp doesn't honor this setting.  Instead Dimp shows the  
strike-thru on your deleted messages, and you don't get the option to  
purge deleted.  You must logout and login for the messages to no  
longer show up in your inbox.

I think dimp should honor the imp settings and move the items to  
trash, or you could provide a separate prefs for this, but I don't  
think you would really want to.
