I believe I found a way to reproduce it:

1. login into DIMP
2. select a mail in the inbox (so that the line is highlighted and a  
green checkmark is on the left side of the line)
3. click into the search box - the search options appear
4. click onto the [x] of these search options

on our IE 6 Systems we get the stack overflow at this click, with the  
IE 7 on my System the click does nothing (= it does not close the  
search options). After that I cannot change the search fields (all,  
from, to, subject) anymore and if I click on "drafts" I get the "Stack  
overflow" in IE7 too.
