Personally, I would prefer "image" since the files might be photos,  
but they could also be things like scanned artwork, drawings etc,  
screen captures etc... and "Photos", to me anyway, seems to suggest  
it's a photograph, i.e. an image originally captured in a camera.

However, Jan, I noticed you started standardizing on "Photos" in some  
commits last year...

Thoughts?
