And indeed, the suggested error was an empty calendar_id. But why?
It lays in the line 421:
$values = array_merge($values, $calendars);
$calendars is not an array in every case! I just added a before this  
line following command:
$calendars = array($calendars);

And now, after some tests it looks like it works like a charme.

I hope I could help and remove one bug ;-).
