reference if needed, added this to /etc/services:

git         9418/tcp

And this to /etc/inetd.conf:

git stream tcp nowait nobody /usr/local/bin/git git daemon --inetd  
--verbose /horde/git/horde.git /horde/git/horde-hatchery.git  
/horde/git/horde-support.git
