No Jan, no error... but I did a test.
In "imp / lib / Ajax / Imple / ContactAutoCompleter.php" line 33 I put  
an alert:
'OnType' => 'function (e) (alert (e); return e.include ("<")? "": E;) '

And the behavior is as follows:
When the previous email is in my addressbook the value of "e" is  
displayed correctly when it is not, it displays the wrong value.
