I'm using sequence sorting in IMP (standard view). Sorting direction  
is descending, sort preferences are cleared. I also have "display a  
page with first unread message" set in preferences.

For some reason when I receive a new email, IMP sometimes shows last  
page instead of first page with new message.

Switching to date sorting fixes the problem.
