There *should* be nothing in an ActiveSync request that attempts to  
access IMP, so IMP should not be attempting to authenticate to the  
IMAP server.

The only thing I'm able to come up with is that since we set  
authentication => none when we initialize Horde in rpc.php, something  
in the Horde application initialization process (maybe checking  
permissions on each installed app when listing apps?) is hitting IMP.
