Still believe that not subscribing to these mailboxes is correct.  But  
also agree that it is useful to search these mailboxes.

Maybe the correct inquiry is instead how to make it easier to search  
unsubscribed mailboxes in the UI.  E.g., the mailbox list in the  
advanced search screen should probably include ALL mailboxes, not just  
subscribed mailboxes.
