No, these are two different problems:
1.) folders added after switching to show all folders are added to the  
ui, but not to the search. getting back to edit the search they are  
gone too.
2.) searching INBOX is confusing if that is the base namespace. by  
default sub-folder searching is enabled. in my case, all folders are  
sub-folders of INBOX. this is obviously not what we want, especially  
as the other folders don't appear as subfolders in the drop down list.
