As mentioned on the email list, this is NOT an issue with the  
spellchecker.  Something is broken elsewhere (e.g. you incorrectly  
upgraded your identities) that is causing the initialization  
javascript to fail.  Unless/until this can be determined (and shown  
that it is a bug rather than a local issue) there is not bug ticket.
