After a few days now, it appears to have *mostly* settled down, apart
from one issue which I will outline here.

The server is back on AS 14.1, and two devices have been removed and
re-added so are syncing with 14.1. 4 other devices are still 12.1.

CPU usage, retries, battery life have all stabilised, so I have no
idea what the issue was when I first upgraded to 5.1, but I think it
has mostly gone.

*Remaining Issue*
I have two devices under my logon, an iPad running iOS 6.1.3, and an
S4 running android 4.2.2. Both are connected with 14.1.

The S4 cannot read a particular folder (user/chiarina). The iPad reads
it fine. There are other similar folders that the S4 reads fine (e.g.
user/benjamin), with its subfolders.

There are 53 messages in the user/chiarina folder, and only 1 of them
sits within the 1 month sync period. The folder has subfolders.

The iPad correctly reads the folder, picking up the 1 email, and also
shows me the subfolders that are available.

The S4 does not. A sync shows empty folder, and selecting folders it
shows the folder as selectable, but with no subfolders.

I have attached the S4 device log from an attempted device-originated
refresh in the folder, and the IMAP debug log from the same
transaction will be in the next comment. The device log shows the same
ERR: Unknown message error that was cropping up when I first upgraded
as noted in previous comments.

An IMAP reconstruct on the folder does not help.

Something in this folder is causing AS to completely abort the folder sync...
