This is intentional. EAS does not have anything resembling a \DELETED  
flag. A message is either in the mailbox, or it's not. EAS use expects  
the use of a Trash folder.

This may or may not be correct. It depends on the MUA, and the way it  
is configured.

This is what normally happens when you don't have a properly  
configured Trash folder. Since you say that you do, I would need a  
sync log of the failed deletion to see what is going wrong. Also,  
since you don't mention any version information in your bug report, I  
would need to know the version of Horde, the Core library, and the  
ActiveSync library in use.

I'm not sure what you are saying here. Attachments work fine for me  
here on iOS, as well as all my test devices (except Android 4.4.x,  
which has known issues with attachments).
