more complicated UI for it ... adding additional user-defined search  
types would require a bunch of additional code for little benefit.   
(Searching from, recipients, and the subject, quite frankly, is not a  
very useful search query).

It would be nice to make the layout of the advanced search page nicer  
in the next version of IMP, but I don't see any issues with the  
current quicksearch setup.
