There is a problem with receiving E-mail attachments at the moment.
Attachments which include umlauts and are sent from Horde Webmail to
Lotus Notes version 9.0.1 have the following mistakes:
- PDF attachment (the name will be changed)
- .xlsx and .docx formats are in .Dat Format changed.
The problem is just with the communication between Horde Webmail and
Lotus Notes!
But there is no problem with Email receiving in Lotus Notes if:
- E-Mails are sent via Client like Thunderbird
- E-Mails are sent with a help of another provider like Google account
Moreover there is also no problem if:
- E-Mails are sent from Horde Webmail to any other provider like
Google, Web.de account
You can find 3 attachments from me:
- Source code 1 (mail transport from Webmail with umlauts in attachment)
- Source code 2 (mail transport from Google with umlauts in attachment)
- Screenshot 3 of an attachment with a changed name in Lotus Notes
I have noticed that if you send an E-Mail (see source code 1) the name
of the attachment utf-8 is without any quotation mark. Thus the name
of the attachment is not recognized and its name is changed to
att????. (see screenshot 3)
For more information you can contact me.
Thank you in advance
