I agree this is an issue.

This, however I don't believe is. If I give somebody edit permissions  
to my calendar, I expect that they will be able to add/edit events  
that are present on that calendar. I DON'T expect that they would be  
able to rename the calendar, or change any of the other calendar  
properties.
