This is still happening with Thunderbird 91.6.1 Cpanel 100.0 (Build 9)  
and Horde groupware 5.2.22

Test it with gmail calendar invites. Upon accepting invites in  
thunderbolt linked to horde caldav the duplication of invites and  
swapped organizer role occurs.
