Hi Anil,
First I installed PHP 4.0.6 on my machine, but I have find out fast, that there was no build-in gettext extention in the orig. PHP 4.0.6 package. Also the gnu_gettext.dll and my activation of php_gettext extentsion was result in troubles.
BTW: Have anyone a solution to use PHP 4.0.6 and gettext under my very ugly, unusefull and !"§$%&/ windows.
After all I found a posting to use PHP 4.0.5 with build in php_gettext and this news help - so long.
I wrote a test prog like:
<html>
<body>
<?php echo $HTTP_SERVER_VARS['PATH_INFO']; ?>
</body>
</html>
and it prints out after calling: "http://localhost/t1/t2/t3/test.php"

So I think, it should work :)
