I have no idea about this version of Chora that phpgroupware
forked.

If you want the latest version of Chora (0.6.5-dev), then
check it along with Horde from CVS (http://horde.org/cvs)

You will need PHP-4.0.6 and PEAR-current though - 4.0.1
isn't recent enough.
