[chora] Features::Group Permissions

How hard would it be to hack in a system of honoring group permissions
when rendering pages through Chora?

Specifically, my situation is this:

Auth happens through apache LDAP (to MS Active Directory) and
horde/chora are set up currently to allow anonymous access.

What I'd like to be able to do is:
1) Auth horde against AD LDAP (so far no luck) and set user/group
credentials.
2) Protect certain modules/branches of the cvs repository from being
displayed to users not belonging to the appropriate group.

Thoughts about this? Or is there a better solution that I'm not
considering?
