  Log:
  For non-recurring events that span multiple days, we want to treat it
  as though:
  
  - on the first day it runs from event_start to end of the day
  - on middle days, if any, it runs from start of day to end of day
  - on the last day it runs from beginning of day to event_end
  
  This fixes a few inconsistencies with the order events appear in.
