  According to this:
  http://kpumuk.info/javascript/javascript-optimization-part-3-attaching-events/
  provides much faster event attaching that base prototype library.  Added
  advantage of being drop-in to prototype (also promises another onDomReady
  function but we will stick with our current solution form now). Will test
  it out for now exclusively in dimp and see what happens.
