  LDAP search scope needs to be sub in order to find all objects of interest. Older versions probably did not do this because Horde was still using elevated permissions to access LDAP which has been fixed with the new drivers. Kolab issue 2040 (https://www.intevation.de/roundup/kolab/issue2040).
