  Clean up of the LDAP preferences driver:
  * Enable TODO functionality of search DN vs. write DN
  * Send all LDAP error messages through localization
  * Standardize LDAP error catching
  * Catch previously unchecked LDAP errors
  * Fix writing prefs with user's credentials
