multiple different user logins

Hi all;
One thing I noticed is that IMP seemed to get confused when someone 
attempted to login as a different user in the same domain, but in a 
different window of the browser -- the reason for this makes sense, I 
think, but I'm wondering if there is anyway to prevent a user for doing 
this and having things go wierd?   I know I'm a bit vague as to what it 
did, but, basically, it seemed as if it was confusing which user was which.
