Not just yet, but thanks for offering.  I have an idea of how I want
to fix this sort of problem in a generic way (so that if will apply to
all of the preference drivers), but I just need to find the time to
try a few implementations.

I'll try and get to this over the next few days now that more people
are using the new Horde / IMP code.
