IMP Filters+LDAP

Hi all.

I was so happy to see that prefs can be kept in LDAP now, so multiple
apps can work with a single source for prefs.
I wanted to know play with filters set by users to periodically run the
same actions on the server-side.
so I do a ldapsearch uid=aghaffar_ispman_net filters
This is what I got
uid=aghaffar_ispman_net, ou=users, domain=ispman.net, o=ispman
filters=a:2:{i:0;a:3:{s:6:"fields";a:1:{i:0;s:2:"to";}s:4:"text";s:3:"xxx";s:6:"action";s:6:"delete";}i:1;a:3:{s:6:"fields";a:1:{i:0;s:4:"from";}s:4:"text";s:13:"Yanuly
Sanson";s:6:"action";s:6:"delete";}}

Can this be converted to something simpler.
Whats the point to keep this in a central-single-source if it cannot be
read by other progs.

Can we perhaps keep it in multiple filter attrubutes.
Something like
uid=aghaffar_ispman_net, ou=users, domain=ispman.net, o=ispman
filter: 1,something=something&somethingelse=somthing,delete
filter: 2,something=something&somethingelse=somthing,delete
filter: 3,something=something&somethingelse=somthing,delete
filter: 4,something=something&somethingelse=somthing,delete

this can more easily be parsed.
perhaps others can come up with a better idea.

I know serialing an object and storing it is the easiest thing to do,
but its also the laziest. :)

thanks
