Thanks, Chuck.  I understood the changes as above and now get:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: fetchrow() in
/usr/local/www/data/horde/imp/../lib/Prefs/sql.php on line 154

from redirect.  Sounds like I still have a configuration problem.
