I can't speak for the rest of the developers, but I've been very busy
these last few weeks (I'm on my spring break now, though).

That's a good idea functionally, but I'd really prefer an abstracted
approach to storing preference data. "Filters" shouldn't be special-
cased.
However, it might make more sense to use a separate storage container
for filters (that's IMP-specific). That would give us more
flexibility at the expense of more installation steps.
