No argument from me... just wanted to think about choosing a word that
would produce a less emotional response (for some people).

And to further clarify, this is another one like "expunge" where we'll
have lots of opinions.  If we can agree as a team what to call it on the
inside (the code view), the text labels (user's view) can of course be
modified to meet a site's needs.
