Yes but his suggestions didn't help.
But as I updated php since my last try I just called my segfaulting script and 
it doesn't segfault anymore! :-)
Unfortunately it still doesn't work: Trying to create events in a loop just 
appends the first event though I call mcal_init_event at the beginning of each 
loop. :-(
It doesn't make a difference if I use the same stream or reopen the stream each 
time.
