How to create a patch ...

Hello all.

I know this is off-subject, but i'd rather ask you guys first ... maybe
someone can help me out here. I made a lot of modifs in many files of the
horde tree, imp + turba. Its, pretty annoying to apply my changes manually
everytime I download a fresh copy of those apps from CVS.

I would like to know how to create patches.

If someone could redirect me to a how-to on the net, or just eplain to me
the full process, I would greatlly appreciate it.
