Okay - that makes sense. :)

dear jan

We would be happy to sent you the translation we have done, and some other
thinks that we worked on, when ofcource we have everything working. And to do
that we must first solve a problem we have.
As we said and in our first message we want to know which languge the user
has chosen during his login to the system, we belive that this is held in some
kind of a variable, we would like you to tell as how are we going to do that
king of check.
   in example:
if the user selected greek as his language we would like to use a function
to translate the date from english to greek.
We don't know the check part, how would we know that the user has chosen
greek as his language and not, lets say italian.

You're wrong; we never decided to make it hard and fast requirement. We do have
a general policy of using it wherever it makes the UI easier/nicer/more
intuitive, and doesn't completely break things when it's not there.

Fair enough. I'm concerned though, that doing a document.write() for a button
that sets the actionID value is not the most optimal (or cleanest) way to go
about it.

If it is, we have many many other forms that have button input types that
contain onclick events that in the end do form.submit(). In non-javascript
enabled browsers they'll just be dummy buttons that do nothing. There should be
some sense of constistancy, no?

That's my instinct, certainly. I haven't been following the details of this;
why is it necessary?

Ideally. Some things just work so much better with the javascript, and people
haven't complained about it, so no one has found ways to do it nicely without
javascript.
