diff?

I've made some changes to imp that I'd like to submit for consideration.
Being mostly familiar with windows based programming I'm not quite familiar
enough with CVS and Diff to create a diff file. Can someone tell me a) if
this is appropriate and b) how would one go about making a diff file.

It's quite easy to make an appropriate diff with cvs:
Just run 'cvs diff -u directory_or_file_name'.

But you should run cvs update before to make sure you're diffing against
the latest code from the repository.
