Lets gun for quicker releases ... although, if the stable tree
is feature frozen, is it worth branching off another RC from it?
i.e., the way we do things atm for 2.2 - we rarely introduce bugs
into the 2.2 tree, so RCs aren't needed, just a stable branch and
tags for releases.
