Okay, I'll buy that. That's committed.

I actually killed that code last night, but it can be re-added
rather cleanly. I committed a modified version of your code that
falls back on our own DN generation.
Thanks for the comments!

Subject: Theme preference
I have made a nice little theme preference that allow users to select their
own color theme (from the four we currently have).
But there's one problem left that we already had some times. We need a
robust way to reload the menu frame after we changed the theme or the user
logged in.
One possible thing were the patch Michael once made that uses the
notification system to push a small javascript at the end of a page that
reloads the menu frame. But that would of course make necessary to change
the notification system again so that the listeners can decide if they
should display a message or not.
Other thoughts are welcome.

This is fantastic. This was on my todo list, but I'll remove it now :)

Sorry, I'm of no help here... I barely understand the workings of the

What about loading the frameset only for a login?
If guest access is an issue, we can have a seperate entry point for guests
(public.php ?) that loads the frameset with any guest apps in the menu frame.
Actually, I like this approach; it'd solve a bunch of problems/complaints, and
doesn't involve javascript...

Yes, they are. Because there was a significant amount of code merge down from

That may be solution. We still need to reload the frameset if the users
changes this preference but that shouldn't be a big problem, we can even do
this with a redirect.

Subject: releases
Alright, I'm done with my major merge tasks. There are still a few things that
absolutely need to be done - someone has to do the edits to the kronolith and
nag branches to make them work with Horde 2.0 - although I do have changes I
was hoping to get in to both of those - but we're a lot closer than we were
yesterday.
Lots of testing needs to be done.
Anyway, I'm burned out for tonight, and am mostly busy tomorrow. Will be around
a bit in IRC though.
