Okay, but note that the admin interface is designed to maintain Horde
users.  If the goal is to extend it to manage system accounts (which
are different than just user entries), you should think about
developing a separate module.

I don't understand what samba and POSIX have to do woth LDAP in this
context.  Please elaborate.

I would not like to this see functionality in the Horde admin
interface.  These functions belong in a separate application.
