For most people, I think either of those would be an install issue.
I don't know how many php's are built with domxml support by default.
Most RPM versions either don't have it, or have it as a seperate RPM 
from the main one.  Then there are the dependencies...
I'm actually still trying to get it to work on my machine.  Until I
do, I can't comment much more than the above.
