[dev] RPC authentication

Hi,

I've been playing with the rpc code but it wouldn't authenticate me
because the HTTP_AUTHENTICATION server var wasn't being set.  Looking
through the php docs, I can't see it mentioned anywhere - but I did
see PHP_AUTH_USER.

This patch made it work for me.
