yes the VFS_Client class sounds good, i suppose you could configure a bunch of
different protocols.
how about having a second part to Gollem, allowing "foreign" sources to be
"mounted" as folders... so you could set up for example several ftp
servers/folders you access regularly and they would always show up as a
folder/files under Gollem? would VPN NFS folders be difficult?
as for talking to other Gollems it goes back to what i was talking about a few
days ago, to have Horde talking to other Hordes and swapping info - that my
horde set up at home can see my horde info on my work horde server. i use them
for completely different things, but i want to share a part of my calendar on
the work server with my horde at home. or maybe two companies that share a whups
database for example. not talking about just hooking up directly to the remote
server, but talking through an api.
how about a Horde_Hub class to manage intra-horde communication?
