when doing a quick search with turba, does it make sense to keep storing and
merging the result set?

at the moment if i search for "john" and then for "peter", it will still keep
the results of "john" up. is there any use to keeping "john" there? what about
automatically clearing the results once a new quick search is submitted?
objections to this type of modification?

i can see a successive search doing a refinement making sense...
